How to sort citations this way

Hi,

Ill use an example of what Id like to do instead of really explaining my problem, since my english isnt that great.

Instead of having citations in my text sorted this way (having the “Year + Author” order) :

(Clark and Denis, 2018; Dujarier, 2015; Lewis et Smith, 2014; Dujarier, 2006)

Id like them to be displayed this way :

(Clark and Denis, 2018; Dujarier, 2015, 2006; Lewis and Smith, 2014)

Is there a way to sort them like that?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you are using EndNote desktop then you can edit the output style you are using to change the sort order of the citations:

In EndNote you can go to Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager > locate the style you are using > Click Edit > go to Sort Order under Citations > here change the setting to Author + Title or Author + Year + Title > go To File > Save As > (EndNote will not allow you to change the existing style in EndNote but will always apply the change to a copy of the style) Click Save to save the changes to a copy of the style > close the style window.

To get the change to show up in a Word document please see the following Knowledeg Base article:

If you are using EndNote online please see the following Knowledeg Base article:
