How to undo eventual previous overriding of a font and to have it again in plain text style?

I was not sure whether I should ask this question in this forum or in the general forum:

In my word-document with around 160 references, the majority work fine and appear in the font style of the document except 3 or 4 references that automatically always appear in Arial. I may have done an overriding of any formatting style in the past, but now I did not get there yet how to undo that. I attach a screen shot with an example of the respective reference.

Any help is appreciated.
