Importing database from Reference Manager 12 to Endnote X7/X8

Hello community,

I tried to import my reference manager 12 database (more than 10.000 entries) to Endnote 8. However, a look at the Journals Term List (‘Tools - Open Term Lists - Journals Tem List’) reveals that the journal abbeviations are imported as full journal names. What do I need to do to get correctly imported journal abbreviations (i.e. categorized as ‘Abbreviation 1’)? And what about my Full journal names? They don’t appear at all after the import process?

Any help is appreciated.

See https://support.clarivate.com/Endnote/s/article/ka1390000004b8AAAQ/EndNote-Generate-full-or-abbreviated-journal-names?language=en_US  and after replacing the current journal list,  TURN OFF auto updating in preferences>terms list options, so future imports do not incorrectly update the terms list.  (see image)
