I was wondering if there is any way to automatically apply a certain style in Word to the bibliography, e.g. the way that Word automatically applies a style to bullet lists.

That is what Endnote’s formating options are in the Bibliography settings of the style and the bibliography menu on the endnote ribbon. At one time, for a short time, it could be adjusted by adjusting the Endnote created Endnote Bibliography “Word” style, but it appears that Endnote revised their software to overwrite any changes to that.
Okay, I have just found that the formatting options in the bibliography settings in the style are quite lacking. There is not for example support for soft breaks in the Bibliography Template settings, which I’ve been trying to find or fix. That’s why I was wondering if I could apply a certain style in Word automatically to the bibliography since Word has more functionality.
