Merge two endnote projects perserving groups

Hello EndNote community,

EndNote library 1 has 50 references organized into 5 groups.

EndNote library 2 has 50 references organized into 5 groups.

Assuming all the ground and references are unique, is there a way to merge this data into a single library that preserves all the original grouping (a total of 10 groups in the merged library)?

Best,

Eric

assuming no duplicates?  I would add a unique word to each of the Keywords of each group.  combine the two, and then use smart groups to reform the missing groups.  Then copy them into hard wired groups.  – as you add new refs add the unique group keyword, and copy the smart group members to the matching hardwired group.
