Problem with sync

I have been using Endnote for several months and it has been working perfectly so far, but for the last couple of days sync does not seem to be working anymore. See sync status below

I checked my email, reset password - nothing worked, can anyone help?

 

 

Sync Details

Sync was last run: Never

Sync Status: There are changes that need to be sent.

Error Code: Server.AuthenticationToken.invalidUserCredentials

Error Message: The username/password specified is not valid.

 

Local Sync Library

Library Name: Diss

Groups: 4

Group Sets: 1

Attachments: 55

 

Online Sync Library

Username: xxxxxx@gmx.net

Serial Number: 3091892614 (Premium until February 15, 2020)

References: 0

Groups: 0

Group Sets: 0

Sync Limits

Number of References: 1000000 (1000000 can still be added)

Number of Groups: 5000 (5000 can still be added)

Number of Group Sets: 5000 (5000 can still be added)

Attachment Storage: Unlimited

The error mentions

Server.AuthenticationToken.invalidUserCredentials

Error Message: The username/password specified is not valid.

 

 

So you will want to re-enter your log in credentials in the program by going to either:

 

Windows

 

Edit > Preferences > Sync

 

MAC

 

EndNote Menu > Preferences > Sync

 

If you are not sure what your password is then you will want to reset the password then go back to the above and re-enter your log in credentials then try to sync.

 

To Reset the Password:

 

Please use the 'Forgot password?' link underneath the login section. A message will be sent to the email address you used to register with Endnote online that will allow you to reset the password.

Hello, I've met the similar question, my error message was: Endnote cannot connect to the online sync server. I tried to reinstall the software but it didn't work. Have you solved the problem?
