Remove "discussion" from references

Hi,

several of my references are in the following format:

Forget TR, Jr., Benitez R, Veznedaroglu E, Sharan A, Mitchell W, Silva M, et al. A review of size and location of ruptured intracranial aneurysms. Neurosurgery. 2001;49:1322-1325; discussion 1325-1326

How do I remove the “discussion 1325-1326” part of the reference when citing?

Thank you in advance.

Two places to check include:

  1. The “Pages” field of the Endnote reference record; and
  2. The “Journal Article” bibliography template of your output style file. [Go to the Endnote toolbar and select Edit >Output Styles >Edit (name of your output style file). In the output style’s dialog box locate the “Bibliography” section and click on “Templates”. Then scroll down the list of bibliography templates until you reach Journal Article.]

Depending on where “discussions” is shown (e.g. the Pages field or the Journal Article bibliography template) just delete the word. If you happen to change the Journal Article bibliography template the modification will be saved to a new output style file with the word “Copy” appended to the file name so adjust Endnote (in the MS ribbon) to use the new output style file.
