I have a lot of PDFs on a folder on my computer. Is there anyway to search from a endnote library in this folder, that is like “find full text” but in the folder? I do not want to import all references in that folder, only the ones that are in my endnote library, and I do not want to attatch each pdf manually.
I don’t believe that is a feature that endnote supports. An option often requested is to allow us to merge duplicates, where you could retain the file and keep the info in a duplicate without the file, which would be a way that one could get achieve a similar feature. Then you could just delete those without a match I guess.
Maybe post in the suggestions section of the forum to request your feature or a work around feature.
