Dear all,
I am trying to organize my word document with all my citations.
I have some citations from the same authors with different dates. I would like to sort them by alphabetic order of the first author, and by the date (in the text and in the reference section of the document).
How can I do that?
Best,
A

author, year style is almost there for you. -- you just need to edit it and save as to a new style, The Bibliography sort order option to First Author +Year +Other Authors (As shown in the attached image), then the citations sort to be same as bibliography.
Since I did it to pull the screen shot, I also attach it the edited output style.
