Unusual citation question

HI all,

I have a question regarding citing the liner notes that accompany Compact Discs. I’m using MLA format - how does this look? The CD album is by SMITH but the liner notes are by Leonard Feather.

 {Feather, Leonard. Liner notes to \Smith, 1963 #80}.

Many thanks

Darren

You would end up with a citation that looks like

(Feather, Leonard. Liner notes to Smith)

So if that is what is required by MLA then you should have the right format. You will want to consult the MLA handbook for proper formatting.
