I’m new here and hope I might find help for a snag I’ve come up with… I’ve used the Tab Delimited style to copy my references and pasted them into excel. My columns are fairly organized, however sometimes the year and title data show up reversed in excel… the yeaer shows up in the title column and teh Title shows in the year column. I’ve looked at the EN references to see if theyre different in some way than the references that show up correctly, and cant see anything… Can anyone help me correct this?
Thank you so much for getting back to me so fast— I’ve been working on this for days and I just figured it out!!! I’m so jazzed… I looked again, and it was the Journal Articles… I coulnlt see anythng wrong with my tab and field set up, so I deleted the whole Journal Article section, saved and closed the style and then opened it and entered Journal articles again. It solved the problem!
Just asking the question seems to do it sometimes… Hope I didnt waste your time. I really appreciate your availblity.
In my excel spreadsheet, Some of the author names are abbreviated so much that you can’t tell what they were originally… ususally just the first initial of a 8-word corporate author. Is there any way to have the full author name spelled out?
