I have managed to choose the wrong duplicates, how do I remove references from the duplicate folder and put them back in my library or does it not matter?
If you have put the duplicates in the trash you can select the references and restore them to the library via a right click or from the menu. You can also drag any reference from the Trash back to the All References group.
If the refeneces are displayed in the Duplicate References folder that folder is temporary and will no longer be available once you quit EndNote.
The references shown in the Duplicate References folder are not removed from All References or any Groups they belong to.
You can get back the Duplicate References folder by checking for duplicates again.
