how to copy an identical reference previously opened ?

Hi!

For a long time I have used ProCite for cataloging my archive, but now I switched to EndNote x9. That’s why I wanted to ask if any of you know that on EndNote you can copy an identical reference previously opened, as you did on ProCite simply by clicking on the F5 key. If anyone knows how to do it, could you explain it to me?

Thank you so much!

Mary F.

Hello Mary,

You can make a copy of a reference with a few steps.

When you are on the main Library Window find and select the reference you want to duplicate.

Go to Edit and Copy.

Go to Edit and Paste.

You will now have a duplicate reference that you can edit.
