incomplete hyperlinked urls in references

Hi folks,

A PhD has presented to me with an odd error I haven’t seen before, and I’ve had no luck trawling through the message boards for a solution.

Using a numbered style, he’s found that some of his URLs are not hyperlinking and underlining the h in his URLs.

I’ve asked to see his file and library, but I’m wondering if you’ve run into this interesting formating glitch before.

It’s a 40,000 word document. He says that if he removes a chunk of the text, the htmls link correctly.


Do you know if the document is stored in SharePoint, OneDrive or another cloud type service?

If the document is stored in on one of the above systems then you might suggest the user save a copy to the local machine. The user can then Convert to Unformatted Citations and then try to use Update Citations and Bibliography.
