oscola + subsequent citations: how to display the author's surname only

Hello everyone,

I am new to endnote and oscola.

Unfortunately all my subsequent citations of books and journals always display the author’s surname AND the title.

In my guide it says that only the author’s surname is to be given when the source is quoted for the second time.

I can’t find a way to change that. Even when I chose “edit citation” - “display author (year)”- it still displays the title along with it.

Can someone tell me how to change that?

Many Thanks in advance!!

Anna

You will want to edit the output style to tick the box indicated in this image in footnote templates.

Save as to a new name, and use the newly named output style in your document to correct those footnotes.
