I use Word 2004 and Endnote X1. Word count is completely off, 15000 in a 7000 words file without references, no matter whether the citations are formatted or not.
I need to keep an upper limit of words, and I’d like to be able to check that as I edit the paper. Can I count the words with my endnote citations? I know that I can create a completely formatted document and count the words there, but I’d like to have it more simple.
