Instead of using the rather cumbersome and not so well designed Character Map, I discovered in the help file that I could create a terms lists containing the accented letters I need. However, accessing it requires several mouse clicks and movements. Therefore, I would like to be able to open this list with one key combination, such as Ctrl+2 (modelled on Ctrl+1, which opens built-in terms lists). I would simply need to double-click on the required letter to paste it rather than plowing my way to the list. Shouldn’t there be a way of creating as many such keyboard shortcuts as one may wish? Shouldn’t it also be possible to access terms list by right-clicking?
