EndNote should have a way of emailing selected references (not simply a formatted citation or a compressed library). The email body would include a formatted citation–with a generic format like Author-Date–and the URL, DOI and PDF of the references, if available. The option would be available from the Reference menu and in the right-click menu for the library entries. This would also have an option to include in the email a RIS file with the all the selected references that the email recepient could easily import into his or her library (be it EndNote or something else). This would be great for collaborations since right now there’s no easy way of doing this.
