EndNote 20: Bring back insert citation icon (shortcut) in EndNote

Bring back the insert citation icon (shortcut) in EndNote. It is not userfriendly to have to do this with a menu based three-clock solution!

i agree that it is not practicle to have a 3 steps solution while in Endnote X9 it was direct insertion with the icon. Definitely you should bring back the citation Icon!!!!

+1 to bringing back the icon! So much simpler!
I put in a enquiry form and got this response
"
I am sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with the EndNote Program. I will be glad to assist you.
We are sorry to inform you that the Development Team has removed that feature based on a customer response feedback form.
With that said, you can try following the below instruction and check how that works:
1) Open EndNote and Word.
2) Select the references in the EndNote library.
3) Click Tools > Cite While You Write [CWYW] > Insert Selected Citations.
Or
1) Open EndNote and Word.
2) Select the references in the EndNote library.
3) Go to Word > select the EndNote 20 tab > click the "Insert Citations" drop-down > Insert Selected Citations."
