I have used Endnote a little with Scrivener - I just copy a reference from Endnote and paste it into Scrivener - this pastes a temporary citation.

Then to format citations you can either:

  • Compile to a word file, open in word and hit the “Update Citations and Bibliography” button or
  • Compile to a .rtf file, then in Endnote, go to the tools window and choose “Format Paper”
