Currently, Smart Group can not set up a search using “Omit from showing reference” algorithm. That means, we can not create a Smart Group that shows references that have any entries in a certain field, using “exclude empty ones” algorithm.
I think this is one drawback of Smart Group function, and may be improved in future updates/upgrades.
