At this time, there is no way to synchronize a library without attachments with EndNote X6 or X7. One potential workaround would be to create a copy of your library without attachments and just Synchronize that library. To create the new copy of the library, click on the File menu > Compressed Library and select the option to Create “Without File Attachments.”
