There is no output style for Euphytica on the download site. Does anyone know of an output style suitable for the Euphytica journal? Is the style in development? I have requested it, but I just wanted to know if I’m a lone voice here.
Thanks

If you can copy&paste journal’s instruction about the bibliography format, I can suggest close templates. You may need to modify a little bit, though.
Thank you myoshigi,

Below is the format copied from their web site. The link is http://tinyurl.com/6jhvzx
I shortened it for posting here via tinyurl.com. Cheers -T
Citation
Cite references in the text by name and year in parentheses. Some examples:
Negotiation research spans many disciplines (Thompson 1990).
This result was later contradicted (Becker and Seligman 1996).
This effect has been widely studied (Abbott 1991; Barakat et al. 1995; Kelso and Smith 1998; Medvec et al. 1993).
Reference list
The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text. Do not use footnotes or endnotes as a substitute for a reference list.
Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work.

Find out the following style template, and download.
SG2_(Yr)_Ti_Jo_Vol_Page -Histochem Cell Biol
It is a typical Springer-Verlag journal style.
You probably need to modify to limit the number of authors, by setting up “3 or more, abbreviate with et al” option as follows.
Edit putput style>Bibliography Author List
This should be very close to what you want.
Best regards,
Thank you myoshigi, it is an excellent template to use. I didn’t want to attempt to construct an output style from scratch. I will modify the one you suggest to suit my needs, and the requirements of the journal.
Sincerely
-Todd
