Problem citing Webpages with own Citation-Style> Endnote X9 just creates bibliography-style

Hey guys,

i need your help. When i use webpage-references with my own created citation-style in a document, Endnote just creates the bibliography-form not the citation-form. Even when i try to edit the citation in the document, nothing changes. There is no such problem with other references types.

What is wrong? What can i do?

I am assuming you don't have an author with the webpage?  So it is likely treating it as an anonymous work and listing the title instead?  You have a few options in the output style to test to see if you get something more to your liking?  see attached for options.

APA does seem to want it all, for example: "APA website citations usually include the author, the publication date, the title of the page or article, the website name, and the URL. If there is no author, start the citation with the title of the article."
