Problem with JAMA formatting

Hi Everyone,

I am having a small problem with JAMA formatting my bibliography.  If there are more than three authors it’s supposed to list the first three authors and then et al. However, I’ve realized it’s only doing this SOME of the time - the rest of the time it’s listing all authors no matter how many there are.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Kristina

Hi Kristina;

The JAMA requirements state that if there are “more” than 6 authors that only 3 should appear and then “et. al.”   If you are submitting to JAMA then this is correc and you would see up to 6 authors in your text.
