I just downloaded the style from the website, but I see it is different from the guidelines.Maybe they changed the instructions for referencing. Anyway, now, “references should be cited in the text by superscript numbers…” instead of in parenthesis and italic numbers.
What can I do?? Is it possible to combine styles and make my own??
Any style can be edited and utilized - I found this NIH tutorial today, which is quite good, but in your case, you will want to edit the Citation template to be superscripted. See the attached image for the settings.
