Actually, the default output style defined in a newly installed version of Reference Manager would be the Modern Language Association style. This style does indeed format in an (Author, Pages) format.
What you are going to need to do is simply use the “Generate Bibliography” tool in the Reference Manager tools in Word, and change the currently listed style (MLA) to a different style that better meets your needs.
