Word 2013

Is Reference Manager 12 compatible with Word 2013?

Hello Susan Elliots,

Please see the following article for Reference Manager and Word 2013 compatibility information:

http://help.thomson.com/default.asp?portalid=TSC&article=126437

I have Reference Manager 2012 and I can’t install the add-in in Word 2013. I followed the procedure indicated in the post. But I could not succeed in installing the add-in as I received the message “Reference Manager Cwyw.dll is not a valid Office add-in”

Do you have any solution to complete the installation ?

Thank you

If you have the 64-bit installation of Office/Word 2013, the Reference Manager add-in will not load with those directions. This will only work with the 32-bit installation. To check your version, please see this article:

Is there anything I can do to get reference manager to work in Word 2013 64 bit?

At this time, there is no way to get the Reference Manager tools to load in the 64-bit version of Word 2013. We apologize for the inconvenience. Keep in mind that Microsoft recommends the 32-bit version for most users of Word:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee681792.aspx

As explained in that article, you would need to uninstall the 64-bit version in order to install as the 32-bit version.

Thanks. Useful.

How to add Reference Manager 12 to Word 2016?

I followed this treat and I updgraded to Work 2016 but cannot find file

“Reference Manager Cwyw.dll”

I can only find:

“EndNote Cwyw.dll”

and

“Reference Manager Cwyw.dot”

“Reference Manager Cwyw.dotm”

In addition, I read that only 32 bit Word is supported so it is still true?

Thanks!
