  1. Close all programs.

  1. Go to your C drive Program Files\Common Files\ResearchSoft

If you cannot locate it check in

Program FilesX86\Common Files\ResearchSoft

  1. You will want to delete the ResearchSoft folder.

  1. Go to Start Control Panel Programs Programs and Features

Locate Reference Manager Click Repair.

  1. Once the repair is done try using Word and Reference Manager to see if you

still get the error message.
