Importing articles from foreign publications with non-English alphabet

When we import a publication that contains non-English characters, it changes the format for the author name or anything containing these foreign characters in RefMan.  Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

Reference Manager is not able to import UNICODE characters. If the characters are a part of the standard Windows font using ANSI (Latin 1), Reference Manager should be able to import the text. Make sure the text files you are importing are saved with ANSI encoding.
