To clarify, are you saying you’d like to be able to make copies of particular PDF files attached to certain Reference Manager database records? If so, what you’ve described would be the most straightforward way to achieve this. By default, Reference Manager 12 makes a pointer to a PDF attachment when you choose to associate the PDF with a database record. The PDF file itself doesn’t reside within the Reference Manager application or within the Reference Manager database itself.
