Hi,

I’m experiencing trouble adding a PDF-file from a web-site as a citation. 

I can only add it as a inserted note which makes the document hard to read.

Is it possible to add a link to the web-site as a citation ID?

So you can copy the website address from your Web Browser then in Reference Manager create a New Reference then scroll down to the URL field and based in the address. You would need to fill in the rest of the information manually but yes you can store a link to a website in Reference Manager in the Web/URL field or Link to Full-text field or Related Links field.
