I have opened a ResearcherID profile (ID#: C-1455-2010). I have uploaded 2 papers that are currently published. However, it states the papers haven't been cited. Both have in fact been cited. Is there any way to manually update citations?
One of my papers (Temporal cue-target overlap...) was cited 3 times whilst in press, and even these don't show up on Google Scholar as citations. Is this general of citations of papers that are in press? If so, seems that important citations are being missed by the system.
Any help appreciated!

Hello James Grange,
Unfortunately, there is no way to manually add citation information. The system will automatically generate citation metrics for items on your publication list that contain times cited data. Only records in Web of Science contain times cited data. However, if you do see a mistake in a record in ISI Web of Knowledge or Web of Science, please send an email to Technical Support.
I should also mention that "in press" citations in Web of Science can only be found in Cited Reference searches. Something "in press" will never be in a general search because that's an index of data that has been published. "In press" citations are not updated by our bibliographic editors once the article is published. If something is cited as "in press", we do not go back and change the citation after the work has been published.
Thank you for your interest in ResearcherID.

Times cited data must be corrected in the Web of Science database before those metrics will appear properly in your ResearcherID profile. To do so please see the form at:
When filling out the form please pay special attention to the IDS number that is visible near the lower left of every Web of Science full record, and provide a full description of the changes to be made.
Please note that data changes typically require 4-6 weeks for full processing.
Hope this helps. If you have any further questions or concerns please submit the support form at: http://science.thomsonreuters.com/support/

I am also facing the same problem. I have total 13 publications (all of them are in pubmed) and ~ 100 citations, but after getting all my publications from endnote to researcherID, it is only showing 13 citation only for one journal. How I would correct this data.
My id is C-8246-2011.

Citation data is only available for articles in your Publication List that are indexed in Web of Science. This data will automatically appear and be updated if you have added your articles from a Web of Science search. For articles added from other sources such as PubMed, you can use the “Update using Web of Science” feature in ResearcherID found on the “Manage List” page. This looks for the article in Web of Science and if found, will then link provide the citation data. For more detail, please see Article 110541 in our KnowledgeBase – go to http://science.thomsonreuters.com/support/ and type in “110541” in the search box.
Sometimes particular data in your ResearcherID record prevents a match from being made, as is sometimes the case in PubMed records. If you can find the article in Web of Science, the best thing to do is to add the Web of Science article directly to your list and then delete the original article. You can also edit the PubMed record in Endnote Web and then use the “Update using Web of Science” feature in ResearcherID. For more details on this, please see KnowledgeBase Article 112045 on our support page as mentioned above.
If you have any problems or additional questions relating to this, please submit a Technical Support case at the above URL.

Researcher ID does not update citation data for articles already listed. I have been checking every week, and although citatipon data is added in Web of Science, nothing happens in ResearcherID. I have tried to updat eusing the "Update using Web of Science", but again nothing happens.

Because we will need to look into your account in order to determine why your metrics are not being updated, please open a support ticket at:
Please include your ResearcherID author number, a detailed description of the problem, and your full contact information. Opening a ticket will ensure your confidentiality, as well as allow the support representative more flexibility in dealing with the data in your specific profile.

I am facing the same problem. When I search for my publication (Garraffoni, ARS - K-6718-2012) in Web of Science I find 25 publication and 19 of them with citation. However, when I save this data to research ID only 19 publication have some citation. The problem is that the references " Species of Terebellides (Polychaeta, Terebellidae, Trichobranchinae) from the Brazilian coast" has 19 "Times Cited", but nothing in research ID, Polychaeta, Annelida, and Articulata are not monophyletic: Articulating the Metameria (Metazoa, Coelomata). has 18 "Times Cited", but nothing in research ID, and Analise filogenetica de Questidae e Clitellata: O problema da parafilia de "Polychaeta". has 4 "Times Cited", but nothing in research ID. The result is that my h-index in web of Science is 8, but in research ID is 6 and the Brazilian Agencies of Funding use the index of the research ID. Please I would like to know why it is happening and how can I fix it. Regards
