kameche,
You are not seeing the option to add publications from Web of Knowledge because your ResearcherID profile is not connected to the Web of Knowledge database. If you do not have a Web of Knowledge subscription you have two options to upload records to your profile. If you do have access to Web of Knowledge it is best to Sign In to that account first then go into ResearcherID. This will connect your profile to your Web of Knowledge account and the “Search Web of Knowledge” link will be visible.
Begin by logging in to your profile, and then click Add Publications.
You can add publications to your ResearcherID profile via Endnote by clicking on Go to Endnote link. To upload article records click on the "Collect" tab, then choose one of the import options. The "Online Search" and "Import References" options allows you to search other library collections or upload from Endnote, while the "New Reference" option lets you manually enter a record's bibliographic details.
Alternatively, at the Add Publications page you can choose to import the record as an RIS file from Endnote, Reference Manager or other bibliographic software.
Once your newly uploaded records are in Endnote you need to ensure that they are in your ResearcherID My Publications list. To do this check the box to the left of the records, expand the “add to group” pick list, select “My Publications.” Go back to your ResearcherID profile and check that the records are in the same list.
Hope this helps. If you need more help please submit a ticket to Technical Support so we can create a case for this and correspond with you directly.
