Subject: X7 references with HTTPS URLs are sometimes not hyperlinked in Word 2013 Message Tags: https, url, bibliography, hyperlink, word, slash Message I'm using EndNote X7.0.2, the built-in IEEE style, and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. Problem: When a web page URL string starts with "https" and ends with a forward slash character "/", the URL is formatted as plain-text, not as a hyperlink, when EndNote renders the bibliography section in the Word document. Bibliographic references containing URLs that do not start with "https" and/or that do not end with "/" are rendered as hyperlinks in the bibliography section in the Word document. I'd like all URLs to be formatted as hyperlinks in the bibliography section in the Word document. EXAMPLE 1: If I create in EndNote a "Web Page" reference using the following URL, and then using EndNote insert into a Word document a citation to this reference, in the bibliography section in the Word document the reference's URL is formatted as a hyperlink (as desired): http://writingcenter.unc.edu/handouts/thesis-statements/ EXAMPLE 2: If I create in EndNote a "Web Page" reference using the following URL, and then using EndNote insert into a Word document a citation to this reference, in the bibliography section in the Word document the reference's URL is formatted as plain-text; it is not formatted as a hyperlink: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/724/01/ Note that if I copy and paste these two URLs directly into my Word document, Word automatically formats them as hyperlinks (which is the desired formatting) as I continue typing. Is this a known bug? Is there some know way to resolve this so that all hyperlinks in the bibliography section are formatted as hyperlinks?
