Convert Smart Group to regular group?

Hello,

I have a large number of reference from an old version of Endnote where I used the custom field to identify project name. I can create a Smart Group based on this, but I would like to know if it is possible to convert that group once it is created to a regular group. I’d like to delete the contents of the custom field without having the reference leave the smart group.

Why not just create a new group and then copy the contents of the smart group to it?

Because creating a Smart Group using a search is very quick, while manually finding and copying dozens to hundreds of entries is very slow and tedious. :slight_smile:
