Including DOI as a parameter to compare while doing a de-duplication is really something we need. I have seen posts from 2010 and 2013 on this, but will give it another try.
Different databases often provide us with different set-ups of author names, journals and even article titles, and quite often while comparing different fields as suggested in various published articles, does not identify all proper duplicates.
To have the possibility to compare DOI would be a live saver while working with Endnote libraries of several thousand references and duplicates caused by searching several databases which is nessecary while working on systematic reviews.
