Turning a citation into HTML or CSS?

Hello, All – I am a teacher in distance education. My interface with my students is a Learning Management System (LMS) that lives on the web. A frequent task is to leave a cited remark to the students on discussion boards, etc.

Is there a tool, add-in, procedure or whatever that will take my EndNote citation and appropriately wrap it in HTML or CSS so that things like smart quotes, italics, indentation etc. are pasted into the markup to appear as specified? Right now I paste in undecorated text that the browser mishandles. It’s not hard to fix. Just tedious.
