Is there any way to add a keyword to a selected group of references? For example, sometimes I download the citations for a group of papers on a particular topic, and once they are imported I’d like to add a specific keyword to all of the newly-downloaded references. It would be nice to be able to append a new keyword to each reference’s keyword field without having to go in and manually edit that field for every one of the references.
Easy. You are looking for Tools>“Change and Move Fields”.
The Change Fields tab is used to change or add to a specified field of the references that are “showing” in the library view.
So after uploading the records into your library, just select them (usually they go into a temporary group “imported references”) and use the tool!
