Please become compatible with Browzine. More and more academic libraries across the world are now subscribing to this iPad App. And other people like Zotero are beating you to the punch as they have already signed on.
We spoke with the Browzine folks about integrating with EndNote. There are a few details that need to be worked out but I hope they will be able to implement something soon.
Jason Rollins, the EndNote team
Okay-- so I did a Browzine/EndNote iPad demo at our Technology fair last week. My users asked repeatedly where is the EndNote Export?
Went to Browzine–here is their answer:
Why is Endnote not available as an export option?
Using cross-application communication and web APIs, BrowZine integrates into the work flows that researchers have established to manage their PDFs and citations found in BrowZine. With BrowZine, users may easily send a PDF to Dropbox, add it to their Mendeley library, or use many other options, all with a tap of a button.
We appreciate that many researchers rely on EndNote and recognize the value of integrating with this service. However, our integration with EndNote depends on Thomson Reuters writing an API for EndNote and they have yet to do so. We have discussed this several times with Thomson Reuters and, as of March 2014, Thomson Reuters reported that they “do not have a roadmap yet” for developing an API but that they “will be working towards that goal.”
As soon as Thomas Reuters develops and API, you can count on us to provide the same integration with EndNote as we have available with Mendeley, Zotero and RefWorks. In the meantime, please let your Thomson Reuters’ representative know how important this is for your library as no doubt your feedback will help set their priorities.
Will you folks please get your act together on this!!! Can’t you see you are losing customers to Zotero and Mendelay? You folks used to be nimble. This has dragged on for months!!!
An update: I asked our Thomson Reuters rep about this and he said that they expect to have the ability to save references from Browzine to EndNote working in early 2015

Saving to EndNote is available now with version 1.6.6 of the BrowZine iPad app.
