In previous versions of endnote, if one were to search within one’s references for, say, “Wormald,” a list of all of Wormald’s articles would appear in the search window. If one were to start another search, the search would be conducted through All References. In one of the recent updates (I’m using X7), however, the programing was changed so that the second search would only be conducted in the currently open window (without finding any results). In order to avoid this problem, one must cancel the prior search and/or return to the All References window – an extra step that is very irritating. Please return the old functionality.
