Dont like black background in V20 - possible to remove/soften?

Hi, I don’t like the harsh black background in the Endnote V20 Is it possible to soften it to grey or change to a softer colour - like blue or green?

I don’t mind the black, but it should be changeable. I don’t know any programs that don’t let you change the colours of the UI;

V20’s dark background with light text hurts my eyes. I’m still using x9 to avoid the pain.
