I just purchased Endnote 8 for students. I cannot download it because it says " You can’t open the application "EndNote 8.0> because PowerPC applications are no longer supported. What does it mean and what can I do? I have a new MacBook with OS X 10.9.3 and I really need this program to work. I am in the process of writing my dissertation and really need this to work.
Where did you purchase it from ??? – that software is at least 9 or 10 years old. It is unlikely to work with any modern computer or software? The current version of Endnote is X7 (or 17). Endnote 8 was a buggy version which should have been drowned at birth and is no longer supported. You need to get your money back.
