Endnote 21 Desktop Microsoft Word citations language/prefix change

How can I change the endnote settings to not display “p.” for page in citations in Microsoft Word, I know that you can’t change languages in endnote, but I did hear that u can change those sort of things, as I need them in another language basically. I had to manually do it the last time and that was a pain.

I know 100% it is possible to do it, because another student mentioned it in the group chat. But he refused to elaborate how to do it, saying that it was complicated and difficult.

Example:
Text text text (Dragan et al., 2018, p. 136)

Should change to:
Text text text (Dragan et al., 2018, s. 136)

I would appreciate any help, but at the same time as I am not that good with technical stuff, just tell me straight if it is like dangerous to change that sort of stuff within endnote. Cause if my library got lost that would be beyond life shattering haha :frowning:

You change it in the output style you are using with the desktop application. Which output style? you carefully replace the p. with the s. not removing any of the link adjacent and separation characters in the template for the “citation” in that style, save as to a new style (it will add copy to the name, but you can change it to include the language name for example. Just do not try to name it exactly the same as it was, or Endnote might not keep it. It should not mess up your library, but do back up the library.DATA folder and .enl file somewhere regularly!
