Endnote could not connect to the online sync service

I am having a syncing problem with a shared library.  The error message I get is that EN cannot connect to the online sync services.

I have tried the following:

  1. Opening and trying to sync one of my other shared libraries - same error message
  2. Re-booting my PC - same error message
  3. Re-booting my router - same error message
  4. Uninstalling and reinstalling EN - same error message

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
