When I open Office 365 Word (downloaded and installed) its Word 15.28(161115)
I got ERROR 5003
I’ve just updated word and it appears it might have started working but who knows…

+1 vote for endnote support for word 2016/office 365. Please advise if support is planned, and a target release date when known

Unfortunately, all provided steps did not resolve my problem! It is time to contact IT support and hopefully the issue will be fixed.
