How to dispaly [1-2] rather than [1,2] in consecutive citation?

I want to cite as follows:

text[1-2]texttext[3-6]texttexttexttext[2,5]text

in EndNote X8.2 on Windows 10, but the result is that

text[1,2]texttext[3-6]texttexttexttext[2,5]text

so how to make the [1,2] convet to [1-2]?

Thanks a lot.

I do not believe that is an option.  Do you have a publication with author instructions that require this?  If so, you may need to request this as a option in the suggestion forum here.

Thanks a lt. The cation instructions in Chinese Standard “Information and documentation—Rules for bibliographic references and citations to information resources”(Standard No. GB/T 7714-2015) require this.

without waiting for the modification of the program, which will probably take some time, you could make these “hidden text” and type in the format you want them to appear in.  formating them as hidden text means you can still “see them” in the word processing document, but they won’t print, so if the numbering changed, you could see it and manually correct your version.  Search for “hidden text” before submitting the final version, to check they all match.
