How to make a note/summery of a reference in any reference manager?

Hello,

I am new to use any reference manager, thought of using Bibdesk or JabRef as they are free and can use JabRef in both Mac and Windows system.

I want to know in which reference manager I can write a summery of the reference I am using and record it in that reference manager? (So that when I am looking at references I have used, I can have a look at my summery and notes)

and how, please?

Hello Seer,

Once you double click on a reference in your database one of the available fields will be the Notes field which you can use to type in your Summary or any “notes” about the reference.

If you go to View and then select Field Numbers the Notes field is field 6.
