Import references via Word file

Does anybody know if there is a way of easily importing references from a Word file into EndNote X3. The references in the Word file are already in the apa 5th style and should be recognized by EndNote(???) since EndNote would write them down in the same way. The manual only mentions 3 ways to do it:

  1. Rearrange the reference data using your word processor so that it is in a format that EndNote can import.

2. Copy and paste each piece of data from its source into the proper fields in EndNote.

3. Enter the data manually by typing it into EndNote.

Option 1 sadly means i would have to rearrange everything i have to fit EndNotes import options. So is there no way of easily importing the ‘already formatted’ references from Word into EndNote. And what would be the most easy way of getting the references i have into EndNote. I will include my references in the attachments (had to put it in a txt format because the forum doesnt allow Word files to be uploaded).

Thanks for any explanations and tips!
