iPhone support

Here’s a feature I’d pay a handsome sum for - an iPhone app that allows me to manage, edit and search my reference libraries.

Similar to the PalmOS applet, I would love to have my libraries available to me on my iPhone so I may reference them when needed - even if away from my desktop. It might even be possible to build-in online search to PubMed and others sources and access them right from the iPhone, add selections to the appropriate reference libraries, and sync it back up to your computer when you return.

Yes I’d like that too.

Of course I canuse EndNote Web on the iPhone though it’s a little slow having to download all the time. I’d prefer to be able to sync and have it stored on the iPhone.

I would like to add my support for this functionality.  It would be a huge help to have my libraries on my phone for use when I was not near my desktop or laptop.

Thanks!

Well, I don’t want to be left out either! (edited many yrs later to say, I don’t have a Blackberry anymore…)

I would very much like to have an iphone app as well.  I would think that it should not include attachments, as my .pdfs would quickly fill up the phone.  But the basic listings should easily fit.  It would really help to be able to see if something is already on my list.

I switched over from a Palm V to an Iphone and I too am greatly missing my ability to have my references on my PDA.  I was hoping you would add it with X3 but apparently no joy.

If developing an iPhone application, please also make sure that it runs on the iPod touch, as many scientists work in labs that do not allow cell phones with cameras!

Even a mobile-phone-optimized version of the Endnote Web site would be welcome. That would help with iPhone, Blackberry and Android.

With the popularity and size of today’s mobile phones, I am completely surprised that Thomson Reurters went through the trouble to write an app for the iPad but neglected to create one that is compatible with the iPhone.  I would emphatically request that they write an app for the iPhone, and while there at it, I would also suggest releasing one for the Android operating system.
